ABOUT

“M(other)” is Lucius’s first full-scale orchestral project - a staged, interdisciplinary show based on the sonic world of their forthcoming album, expanded for symphony orchestra, voice, and an exploration of an additional discipline. Rooted in themes of identity, duality, and the porous line between nurture, selfhood, and the various ways in which we’re all connected, the work fuses Rob Moose’s new orchestral arrangements with Lucius’ unmistakable vocal architecture to form a continuous, sculpted musical arc.

“M(other)” is a hybrid concert work

part album

part performance art

part modern symphonic narrative

Set to premiere with leading orchestras in 2027
